Autobid
Autobid couldn’t be simpler. In the bid field enter the maximum amount you’d like to spend on that auction. Our system will automatically bid for you up to your maximum bid amount. Here is an example of how autobid works:
Example: the current auction bid is at $10.00. You enter a maximum bid of $25. The autobid system will incrementally bid against the other maximum bids that other bidders have entered. If the next highest maximum bid was set at $20 then you would be the current highest bidder with a bid amount of $21. The autobid system will continue to incrementally bid for you until the bid reaches $25. Someone else would need to enter a maximum bid of higher than $25 to outbid you and for the system to stop bidding for you.
Overtime
This auction feature extends the bidding period as long as bidding is still active on an auction. As long as a bid is placed within last 1 minute of the auction end time, the bidding period will be extended by 2 minutes. The bidding period will continue to be extended until no more bids are received within the last 1 minute of the bidding period.
